Sadia Ashraf is a Los Angeles based public relations and
communications specialist, currently working as a Communications and Media Manager at Aeros, that partners with NASA and Congress. She has spearheaded successful international publicity campaigns focusing on press relations, talent placement, philanthropic promotion, external
communications and fundraising. Ashraf is additionally an activist, philanthropist, portrait
artist, creative writer and serial volunteer. She is working on writing two film scripts and a novel at UCLA.

A sought after event maestro, MC, public speaker, speech
writer and talent promoter, Ashraf has worked with celebrities, authors
and philanthropists such as Geena Davis, Micheal Douglas, America Ferrera, Greg
Mortenson, Helen Hunt, Maz
Jobrani and Jack Black.
Research Writing & Diplomacy work
With an academic background, she has written research based strategy and policy documents, white papers, press boiler plates, processing complex organizational information and reconstructing it for the public and press. Recently she published a coffee table book for Aeros to be presented to the White House Technology department and various Congress members.She also created academic resource lists related to South East Asia that have been used by professors around the US which she presented to the White House Envoy and staff to the OIC in 2010.

Her diplomatic relations led her to
be invited to meetings with senators, congressmen, policymakers, and State
Department officials speaking on topics as diverse as immigration laws, global
market access and non-for-profit development. It all started in 1996 when Ashraf was honored to be the
spokesperson for her college and led a one hour round table talk with (then) First Lady, Hilary Clinton.
Career Trajectory
Before Worldwide Aeros, she has worked as a corporate entertainment and media publicist at Shout-Out Marketing and previously was the Outreach Director for Central Asia Institute (CAI) and editor of CAI’s online publications. She launched their large scale fundraisers, peace conferences and galas nationally. As a spokesperson for one of the world’s most well known, Nobel peace-prize-nominated nonprofit, she documented education research and statistical data for national presentation— travelling and speaking nationally at universities, communities and events.

She has previously worked as a Public Relations Manager at
Friends of Community Public Art where she supervised projects from inception to
completion and was the press liaison, editor and content strategist. Ashraf has also worked as an art history
research director and a freelance writer.
Additionally, for her community service, Ms. Ashraf is a
board member of several foundations including Zindagi Trust, Bring Hollywood Home and Shine Humanity.
She holds two Masters Degrees in English and English Literature from Loyola
University Chicago, specializing in Postcolonial studies and creative Writing. Loyola University honored her as an alum with features in an Alumni

and Loyola Profiles of Extraordinary
